Meet Dr. Arnold Baker
Dr. Arnold Baker has practiced dentistry in Holland, Michigan, since 1977. Over the last 40+ years, Dr. Baker has built a reputation with his fellow dentists not only regionally, but across the state of Michigan, as a man who “exudes a sense of integrity and decorum.” His patients over the years have described him as a “gentle giant who is vigorously artistic.” He is intensely devoted to advancements in the art and science of dentistry, completing thousands of hours of continuing education courses in the areas of implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics (crowns and bridges), occlusion, and TMJ.
Having over 30 years of experience in implant dentistry and complex full-mouth reconstruction, Dr. Baker has helped countless people return their mouths to their desired form, function, esthetics, and comfort.
Throughout Dr. Baker’s career, he has actively guided the course of dentistry in the state of Michigan. He has served in leadership roles as a president of the
, the , and the . Dr. Baker is also a former assistant professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and has been a mentor to countless other dentists throughout the state. Dr. Baker is a recipient of the Michigan Dental Association’s highest honor, the John G. Nolen Lifetime Achievement Award. Additionally, he has been honored with West Michigan District Dental Society’s highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award.Dr. Baker retired from the active practice of dentistry in 2011. As the founder of the Lakeshore Dentistry & Implant Center, mentor to Dr. Lebster, and caretaker of thousands of patients, Dr. Baker remains an integral part of this dental practice, even in retirement. Dr. Baker serves us as a consultant regarding dental implant parts and specific complex dental rehabilitation.
