Meet Dr. Ryan Lebster
Dr. Ryan Lebster is a 2004 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He also holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Michigan State University.
Furthering his education, Dr. Lebster has graduated from two post-graduate education programs. In 2006, Dr. Lebster completed the Misch Surgical Program in implant dentistry at the Misch International Implant Institute.
In 2023, Dr. Lebster graduated from the prestigious Kois Center for Advanced Dental Education.
Dr. Lebster’s extensive education has guided his systematic approach to solving complex dental problems patient are faced with. Dr. Lebster has successfully re-constructed and restored thousands of mouths to health, comfort, function, and beauty. Having an extensive background as an engineer has proven to be an exceptional asset to Dr. Lebster and his patients. Whether the needs are a filling or complete full-mouth reconstruction, the skills of analysis, planning design, and execution with precision are critical.
Dr. Lebster believes in giving back to his community, both locally and on the state and national level. He has held various leadership positions in the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Holland–Zeeland Dental Society. Serving on the board of the Holland Free Health Clinic as well as providing donated services to children and adults of Holland, Michigan has been an important priority for Dr. Lebster.
Dr. Lebster and his wife, Cathy, have been married since 1996. They raised their four daughters; Kayla, Genevieve, Stephanie and Danielle in Holland, Michigan. Kayla is following in her father’s path and currently attends The University of Michigan Dental School. Genevieve is studying Engineering at Michigan State University and Stephanie is also at Michigan State University studying Kinesiology. Both are on the Michigan State University Gymnastics team. Danielle is attending West Ottawa High School.
Cathy is a long-time volunteer for many organizations in West Michigan including; Kids Food Basket, Junior Welfare League, West Michigan Community Foundation, Holland Newcomers, and West Ottawa Public Schools. Cathy is a graduate of Michigan State University with a BA in Education and taught high school English and History. Her passion lies in education and children, leading her to serve in many capacities for West Ottawa Public Schools. She has served on the Board of Education since 2016. Acting as their President since 2017.
In 2008, Dr. Lebster founded RediDental Emergency Dental Care. The new concept was to provide emergency dental services with extended early morning, evening, and weekend hours. RediDental not only serves his patients at the Lakeshore Dentistry & Implant Center but serves as an on-call service for other dentists and was an integral part of healthcare during the COVID Epidemic and shutdowns. Dr. Lebster safely treated his own patients and many other dentist’s patients during that difficult time
